Metabolic markers

Fiit-ns® supplementation contributes to a significant improvement of metabolic markers:

  • Lipid profile: significant reduction of triglyceride level (-14%) within 3 months and significant improvement of the HDL-c to LDL-c balance.
  • Glycemia: significant impact on pre-diabetes markers with a reduction in fasting glycemia (5.7%) and reduction of glycated hemoglobin (13.6%).
  • Oxidative status: significant increase in the level of endogenous superoxide dismutase (30.5%) and reduction in malondialdehyde level (34%).
  • Low-grade inflammation: significant reduction in fibrinogen and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, the hepatic marker of inflammation.

Fat mass & central fat distribution

Supplementation with Fiit‑ns® has been evaluated for its effects on fat mass and central fat distribution–related parameters.

During supplementation, statistically significant changes were observed in the index of central obesity (ICO), calculated as the ratio of waist circumference to height.

In addition, the majority of the observed fat mass changes occurred in the trunk area, with 83% of fat loss originating from this region during supplementation.

Physical activity

Levels of physical activity were assessed using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), which evaluates activity across four life domains:

  • Working
  • Transportation
  • Housework and gardening
  • Leisure time

Physical activity is expressed in MET‑minutes per week (Metabolic Equivalent of Task), reflecting the overall energy expenditure associated with physical activity.

Following supplementation with Fiit‑ns®, subjects showed higher physical activity scores compared with the placebo group, indicating statistically significant changes in parameters related to physical activity.

Quality of life.

Health‑related outcomes were explored using the SF‑36 questionnaire, a validated international tool composed of 36 questions across eight domains describing physical and mental health–related parameters.
These domains include:

PHYSICAL HEALTH
MENTAL HEATLH
Physical functioning
Role limitations (physical)
Bodily pain
General health
Role limitations (emotional)
Social functioning
Energy/Vitality
Emotional well-being

Statistically significant changes were observed in the SF‑36 total score and selected domains following supplementation with Fiit‑ns®, compared with placebo, reflecting changes in parameters related to perceived health and vitality.

Fiit-ns® is safe.

No adverse event linked to Fiit-ns® supplementation over the period 2008-2023 has been recorded.
